QuickBooks
Overview
The Haven + QuickBooks integration enables seamless syncing of financial data into your general ledger. By linking your accounts, you can automatically sync enriched transactions—categorized, tagged, and ready for review—cutting down on manual entry and month-end headaches.
How to Connect
Log in to usehaven.com
Navigate to Integrations
Find the QuickBooks integration tile
Click “Connect”
You’ll be redirected to Intuit’s OAuth login
Sign in and approve access
Choose the company to link with Haven
Return to Haven with your integration marked as Connected
Automatic Sync Process
Transactions sync to QuickBooks on a regular cadence (e.g., daily)
Metadata includes: memos, tags, attachments, and GL categories
View all synced data in your Haven accounting dashboard
Troubleshooting
Token Expired or Revoked
Haven will display the integration as Disconnected
To reconnect:
Go to Integrations
Click Reconnect on the QuickBooks tile
Complete the OAuth re-authorization
Disconnecting
Go to Integrations
Locate the QuickBooks card
Click Disconnect
Confirm disconnection
FAQ
Q: What gets synced from Haven to QBO?
A: All eligible transactions, complete with GL mappings, memos, tags, and optionally attachments.
Q: Can I customize which accounts sync to which GL codes?
A: Yes, mapping is configurable from within Haven.
Q: Do I need to be a QBO admin to connect?
A: Yes, only QuickBooks Admin users can authorize the connection.
