Connecting Haven &
Gusto
Overview
The Haven + Gusto integration makes it simple to sync payroll data directly into Haven Accounting. With just a few clicks, you can securely connect your Gusto account and automate journal entries, employee expense allocations, and more—saving hours of manual work every month.
How to Connect
To the left of Add team member click the down arrow
Click “Add collaborator”
Under “Relationship to your organization”, select “Accountant”
Under “What will they help with?”, select “Take care of taxes and reporting”
For the first and last name, select “Haven”
For the email, select “clients@withhaven.co”
Under “Access Permissions”, select “Global admin”
Click “Save collaborator”

Within Gusto, Navigate to People → Collaborators
Click clients@withhaven.co
Click “Remove from Role”
FAQ
Q: What data does Haven pull from Gusto
A: Employees, contractors, and payroll journal entries including totals, memos, and metadata about each pay run.
Q: How often does the sync run?
A: Once per day, automatically.
Q: Can I map Gusto employees to vendors or contacts in Haven?
A: Not yet, but this is on the roadmap.
